With over one hundred teams playing at KIKOFF on a weekly basis, we often wonder which team from across our centres is the best. Currently unbeaten in the Thursday night football competition at Heffron Park- is it “The Legends”? Or could it be “Dobroyd FC”?
Another team who haven’t suffered a loss and who are currently sitting pretty at the top of our Monday night division one comp at Fraser Park- it is a question we cannot answer- well couldn’t…
We are on the hunt to find out which teams from across our centres is number one and with a little input from you, we will potentially find out who the best five a-side team is in Sydney! We are inviting all five a-side teams to “Challenge our Champions” at KIKOFF Canterbury next month where we will find out which team of players has what it takes to be crowned our champions of 2017 and take home the $2000 cash prize which will be up for grabs.
The tournament is named “Challenge our Champions” because all teams who have won a competition at KIKOFF in the last six months will have free entry to this one day event as champions. The challenge therefore comes from any teams who haven’t won league competition or simply do not play at KIKOFF. Registration for all of the teams who are looking to place a challenge in front of our champs is just $250.
To make things a little more interesting, KIKOFF will be entering our own team of “challengers”. For those of you who speak to any of our staff members, you will know we fancy ourselves as decent footballers. Personally, I think a KIKOFF team would run away with any of the league competitions and for that reason, I fancy our chances of coming out on top, in which case, we will donate the winnings to a charity of our choice!!
With the football season over, this is the perfect opportunity to get out of the house and surround yourself with football for the day and possibly head home $2000 richer.
